Cynthia McClorey - Executive Director

Cynthia has been associated with North Shore Community Mediation Center since 1999 and has held the position of Executive Director since January, 2002. Cynthia comes to this position with experience and training in mediation beginning in 1983 when she coordinated the Adolescent and Family Mediation Project for the Salem Mediation Program, the prior community mediation program serving the North Shore area of Massachusetts. With a background in higher education administration, specifically college admissions, Cynthia has a Bachelors Degree in Sociology and a Masters Degree in Education. As Executive Director, Cynthia oversees the every day operation of NSCMC including the administration and management of NSCMC programs and training, supervises mediators and staff and oversees court operations.

Michael Solitro - Manager of Mediation Services

Michael originally hails from Worcester and has family throughout Central Massachusetts. He spent his undergraduate years at Syracuse University studying Public Relations, recently earned a JD from Suffolk University Law School and completed a basic mediation training at the Community Dispute Settlement Center in Cambridge. Mike has a passion for mediation and negotiation and is excited to join the North Shore Community Mediation Center.  In his role as Manager of Mediation Services, Mike interacts with the Essex County Courts we serve and schedules and supervises the NSCMC mediator panel.   

Anya McDavitt - Director of Youth Programs

Anya McDavitt is a certified mediator and violence prevention specialist. She comes to the Director of Youth Programs position after working in Higher Education for 5 years teaching/supervising students in community service and leadership initiatives and 10 years in the Youth Development field focusing on service learning, civic engagement, intercultural relations and violence prevention, in particular teaching youth to make healthy life choices for themselves, towards others and the environment. She holds a B.A. in Applied Sociology and an M.A. in Intercultural Relations with a specialization in conflict management.  Anya's broad range of experience has given her a firsthand perspective and insight into youth conflict and youth driven solutions.
