Sandy Sheckman, Swampscott
Sandy is an accomplished leader in the not-for-profit arena with over 25 years of experience in Resource Development. She has held executive positions with the following local nonprofits: Children’s Friend and Family Services, Lynn Museum & Historical Society, and the Jewish Community Center of the North Shore. The recipient of several awards recognizing her accomplishments, Sandy holds a Master’s Degree and Graduate Diploma in Non-Profit Business Administration.
Jerry Mahan, Wenham
Jerry is a Certified Public Accountant and holds a Masters Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Massachusetts Society of CPA’s. Jerry has been practicing in public accounting for over ten years and currently works at a local CPA firm. He is a leader within his organization and has become a “trusted advisor” to many. Jerry is able to bring those same positive attributes, which revolve around both management and an accounting/tax expertise to the NSCMC Board of Directors.
Jay Robbins, Marblehead
During his long tenure with Corporation Service Company, a legal services and technology company, Jay held the positions of New England Regional Manager, Product Manager and Associate General Counsel. He is a member of the Massachusetts Bar (retired status). Jay also has a degree in secondary education, and was an adult education teacher with Action for Boston Community Development, the anti-poverty agency for the City of Boston. He is an active mediator with NSCMC, and participates in the center’s peer mediation program.
Lesa Botti, Andover
Lesa is an attorney and trained as a mediator, divorce mediator and parent coordinator. Over the past few years, she has volunteered in the courts of the Commonwealth mediating numerous cases. Her current practice is Stramondo Botti Law & Mediation Solutions in Andover, MA. Previously, she practiced as litigator with expertise in insurance defense.
Linda Colleran, Danvers
Currently the Director of the Design Center at Gordon College in Wenham MA, Linda has over 15 years of leadership and team building experience. In her past role in Human Resources, Linda has developed the skills of negotiation and facilitation. She completed her basic mediation training in 2008 and brings her budget management and marketing interest to the NSCMC Board of Directors.
Linda Goodenough, Beverly
Linda is an attorney with a background in health care law and litigation. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of Rochester and her law degree from Northeastern University. She recently retired from her private law practice. Linda has been active in a number of local boards and committees; including the Beverly School Committee, the Conservation Commission and the Master Plan Steering Committee.
Richard Langworthy, West Newbury
Dick holds a Masters Degree in Agricultural Economics and has held senior executive positions with several Dairy Companies in the Boston area. With over 30 years in business and experience as a Board member in two other organizations, Dick brings his management expertise to the NSCMC Board of Directors
Carol Rice, Salem
Carol is a technology executive with over 35 years of experience in financial services, management consulting and software. Upon completing NSCMC’s mediation training, she has been active on the mediation panel and in the peer mediation program. She has a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from Bard College and professional development through the Harvard’s Program on Negotiation. Program management, planning and technology are key areas of expertise that Carol brings to the Board of Directors.
Mary Ann Sherwood, Sudbury
MaryAnn holds a master degree in Marriage, Family and Child Therapy and a certificate in Executive Management. Prior to her work as a mediator, Maryann was a clinical division director for a non-public school in southern California serving youths and their families. She completed her mediation training in 2008 and has been an active mediator on several mediation panels since that time. She holds mediation certificates in Divorce, Elder/Adult Family, Summary Process and Re-Entry Mediation.
Ben Stinson, Hamilton
Ben has spent the majority of his career in the consulting and advisory services space with a focus on establishing and rapidly growing professional services practices in new markets. He currently serves as US Head of Business Development for Willis Towers Watson, a global consultancy and solutions provider to the financial services industry. Ben holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Communication and a Master’s Degree in Educational Research from Florida State University.
